You will use your cultural knowledge and your work experience to ensure our RAP initiatives are delivered in an efficient, timely, and culturally sensitive manner.Under general direction you will:Work with relevant stakeholders, including Senior Executives and the RAP Working Group (WG), to prioritise and deliver relevant RAP initiatives.Research, manage, and co-ordinate programs and activities initiated by the RAP WG.Manage the administration of the RAP WG, including providing secretariat duties, tracking progress against deliverables, and managing the RAP inbox.Prepare correspondence for all-staff emails, newsletters, and other mediums, regarding RAP WG initiatives and other First Nations information.Research learning opportunities to promote Reconciliation for all AIHW staff.Gather, prepare, and report data and information relating to RAP deliverables, including for internal reports and the annual Reconciliation Australia (RA) Questionnaire.Track and manage expenditure and analyse and report on financial information relating to RAP expenses.EligibilityTo be eligible to apply for this vacancy, you must:Be of Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander descent, identify as Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander, and be accepted by your community as being Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander.Be an Australian citizen.Undergo any required pre-employment checks, including a police records check.Obtain and maintain a valid Security Clearance if required by the institute.A probationary period of six months will apply to any new engagement to the APS.If you are successful in being progressed to the interview stage, you will be required to provide suitable evidence of your Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander status.How to applyPlease submit your application online via the AIHW e-Recruit system.
