Direct Care Worker - Casual Pool (Keith) Job no: 845153 Work type: Casual Location: South East Categories: Catering and Hospitality, Community Services, Support Services Limestone Coast Local Health Network, Keith and Districts Healthcare Salary: WHA4 $29.11 - $29.42 per hour + 25% casual loading - Casual, working over a 7 day roster Overview The Direct Care Worker (Residential) will assist in providing a direct client service to residents of the Residential Aged Care Facility. Primary job tasks and responsibilities: To provide assistance and care of residents in the Aged Care Unit and maintain a safe and clean environment. To determine the residents total needs - physical, psychosocial, spiritual and document accordingly. Implement and document care in accordance with the Aged Care Accreditation Standards and AN-NAC requirements. To report immediately, any change in the resident's condition, needs or incidents to the Clinical Nurse/Registered Nurses. To delivery an appropriate and safe service, in accordance with the philosophy and objective of the Aged Care Units. For qualifications see role description.
