We're looking for a dynamic and passionate individual to join our communications team.
In this exciting role, you'll be at the heart of delivering impactful messaging, building awareness, and connecting with the people who live, work, and visit our vibrant region.
This role will support our Communications and Engagement Strategy and contribute to enhancing Council's brand through highly engaging and unique content creation across digital and social media platforms.
We want you to share with us how you have the creativity to strengthen our digital and Social Media presence.
You will have a keen interest in digital applications and be someone who thrives on collaboration, effectively working with the team to share ideas and innovations, as well as partnering across the business to promote Councils activities, initiatives and projects.
What You'll Do:
Assist with managing and developing our digital platforms (web, social media).
Curate engaging content that tells the story of our community.
Strengthen the Bass Coast Shire Council brand through innovative communication strategies.
Collaborate with experts to create compelling content that resonates with our audience.
Manage our image library and ensure our website is always up-to-date and accessible.
Help drive internal communications, fostering a culture of collaboration and transparency.
Support critical emergency and crisis communications.
Play a key role in enhancing user experience and customer experience.
Work in a high performing collaborative team where sharing knowledge and experience is valued.
