The Digital Services Manager is accountable to the Manager,Marketing and Communications Unit for leading the development andongoing support of key online platform applications (internet /intranet) available to the community of South Australia and SAPOLstaff. The Digital Services Manager is responsible for establishingand maintaining seamless delivery of these online services fromstart to finish, supported with sound knowledge of user centricdesign, modern governance, risk and compliance methodologies andframeworks. With the organisation looking to redevelop its online presence,the incumbent will work closely with all stakeholders to elevatethe organisation's offerings based on the ever-evolving needsof the community of South Australia and staff. The Digital Services Manager is responsible for providinghigh-level strategic and technical advice, as well as identifyinggaps, risks and opportunities in a digital context in order todrive continuous improvement of the Branch's digitalactivities. The role will also strive to ensure other agency onlineplatforms and third party applications are secure and comply withgovernment guidelines, policies and procedures.
