Siemens has an exciting opportunity for a Digital Service Centre (DSC) Performance Engineer to join our National DSC Team.
The successful applicant will be subject matter expert who drives all digital service activities, innovation through strategic customer engagement to ensure the effective delivery of appropriate portfolio and resources.
This role supports and represents the service activities of the business to achieve maximise value driven results.
The DSC Performance Engineer will support and employ methodologies (includes customer perspectives, industry trends, competitive analysis, and technology disruptions) to deliver holistic service offerings, and enable customers to discover and understand how they can best apply digital transformation to achieve their business objectives.
You will be required to promote the digitalization strategy, drive organizational change, and communicate our vision, partner with Sales, Information Security, Engineers and other stakeholders to assist in the design, communication and implementation of Services, Standards and Processes, as well as develop opportunities for digital services, provide pre-sales / consulting support, and remove organizational barriers to ensure collaboration and excellent service delivery.
Key Responsibilities: • Supporting a culture within the team aimed at providing customers analytics and energy efficient solutions through optimisation of their assets and their usage.
• Identifying and delivering opportunities through the use of analytics and other Digital Service Centre related tools • Identifying and helping support the delivery of automated tasks within the Digital Service Centre • Undertake Customer Remote support, server maintenance and repair activities • Undertake Remote Health check and creation of customer report providing recommendations and own the quoting process of recommendations with support from the estimating team • Remote Commissioning support of projects and service upgrade works • Lead in the designs and engineering of digital solutions down to detail to satisfy the specified requirements of the customer.
• Lead in energy and air quality / other digital assessments and develop energy optimisation concepts.
• Use analysis tools to support scoping of various solutions.
• Lead in the realization of the solution with the required functionality and preparing any design documentation.
• Design and Development where required of custom solutions and API integration ensuring that Siemens guidelines / cyber security requirements are met.
