About the role:
AGL is looking for a Digital Product Owner to join our Retail Transformation delivery teams. In this role, you'll serve as a crucial link between business and technology teams, requiring you to build strong, collaborative relationships across these areas. Exceptional communication and influencing skills are essential. With an Agile mindset, you'll be responsible for swiftly addressing any issues that could impact customer experience or the product's commercial objectives.
What you'll be doing: Define and align vision and roadmap with customer needs and business goalsCollaborate with internal teams and vendors to explore and enhance new digital capabilities.Conduct competitor analysis and provide insights into digital product performance.Utilise customer behaviour data to identify trends and areas for improvement and explore new capabilities to boost experience.Create user stories, engage with development teams, and ensure timely delivery of product features that align with business objectives.Track and report on success metrics, and actively contribute to the digital community through knowledge sharing and mentoring.About you: Extensive experience working in an agile digital environment and familiarity with HCD techniques.Solid understanding of using digital analytics to understand customer behaviour and make data driven decisions to increase customer engagement and digital usage.Strong communication skills - ability to communicate a product vision to key stakeholders and teams, developing it into a shaped backlog of key features, user stories and goals for individual sprints.Ability to work under pressure, amongst ambiguity to meet tight timelines.Experience with leading workshops, in a cross-functional business and tech team through the discovery, development and operational usage stages of product development.Commercial thinking - ability to assess value and make product decisions that maximise the return on investment.At AGL, we offer a wide range of benefits including: Flexible working options including hybrid work.Discounts on energy, telcos and solar plans.Participate in Energise - our reward & recognition program.Access 20 weeks of paid parental leave for the primary carer.Access to an additional week of recharge leave per year.Play an active role in our diversity & inclusion initiatives.Novated leasing and Electric Vehicle subscriptions.Access to study assistance, AGL's share purchase plan and insurance deals.*Benefits may change over time and vary based on role type and location.
