Digital Product Owner - Shaping
role is pivotal in shaping the future of Jetstar's digital products and you will ensure they meet the needs of the business and its customers. You will have the opportunity to leverage your passion for customer experience and digital innovation to influence and shape future work of the Digital and wider Jetstar team.
The core responsibilities of this role will be:
Stakeholder engagement and communication
Communicate effectively with a diverse range of stakeholders, including senior leaders, to ensure transparency and alignment.
Develop strong relationships and be a key Digital contact for Stakeholders across Jetstar.
Influence Digital teams to engage with and contribute to the overall shaping effort.
Facilitate and drive cross-functional collaboration, both within the Digital team and beyond.
Initiative Validation
Collaborate with the digital team to assess the desirability, viability, and feasibility of potential initiatives.
Conduct market research, user testing, and feasibility studies to validate ideas and concepts.
Decision Enablement
Empower Jetstar to make informed and strategic decisions by providing clear, well-researched and reliable insights.
Ensure alignment of initiatives with Jetstar's overall business goals and objectives.
Technical Translation
Translate complex technical concepts into clear concepts, principles and recommendations for non-technical stakeholders.
Ensure that technical solutions align with business needs and are easily understood by all parties involved.
Digital Shaping Advocacy
Advocate for growth and support the overall Digital Shaping capability and roadmap within Jetstar.
Promote best practices and continuous improvement in digital product development and shaping processes.
To be considered, key skills will include:
3+ years experience as a Product Owner, Agile Project Manager, Business Analyst or similar role in software development.
Knowledge of Agile process and principles and experience working in a range of frameworks.
Experience working with diverse teams in different locations (this role will be working with team members in Melbourne, Singapore, Thailand & Japan).
Creative thinker able to approach product from both strategic and tactical view, keeping the customer front of mind.
Sharp analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail.
Ability to prioritise competing demands effectively.
