We have an opportunity for a Digital Performance Lead to join our award-winning communications team. This is a newly developed full-time position and whilst our office is based in Newcastle, we will consider remote working arrangements for the right candidate.
The Digital Performance Lead will drive our digital growth, ensure best practice in digital engagement across multiple channels, and monitor and report on performance analytics.
Reporting to the Communications Manager, key accountabilities will include:
Collaborate with our digital agency partner to implement digital recommendations for our website and digital activities, that raises awareness of our brand and the impact of our research.Manage search engine optimization and marketing, to improve our discoverability and search rankings, including writing articles for our website on key search terms and ensuring backlinks to our website.Manage always-on paid social media and develop a retargeting program, ensuring calls to action drive engagement and conversion.Optimise the BCT website through WordPress to increase our domain authority and site health, and improve the experience of users.Collaborate with the communications team on developing and implementing a 12-month digital content plan, search engine optimization tactics and keyword tracking.Monitor, analyse and report on our performance across multiple digital channels and provide strategic advice to the wider team on potential improvements.Collaborate with other departments at Breast Cancer Trials on digital activities.ABOUT YOU Our ideal candidate will have:
Bachelor degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications or similar field, or extensive work experience in digital marketing.Previous experience using Google Analytics, content management systems such as WordPress, Meta Ads Manager, Mailchimp and social media management software.Experience analysing and reporting on digital performance.Knowledge of best practice in digital marketing and future trends, as well as an appetite for continual learning.Excellent written communication skills and ability to translate complex information for a general audience.Highly developed interpersonal skills and proven ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders.WHY WORK FOR US?
