This role is a critical part of the Digital Strategy team.
This team has the lead responsibility for the development of the Service's digital blueprint and roadmap, with a focus on a contemporary service experience strategyIn the role of Digital Experience Designer, you will be responsible for advocated for a user-centred approach to digital design, bringing an in-depth knowledge of design and customer experience practices to the team that helps QPS capture insights and solve problems on a wide variety of products and services with varying personas and goals.
Your key accountabilities:The core capability requirements for this role are: Create engaging, inclusive, accessible and measurable digital experiences that align with QPS strategic outcomes.
Work collaboratively within a cross functional team to design & deliver workshops on digital solutions with a focus on user experience, consistency, accessibility, performance, and scalability.
Apply specialist skills and knowledge of human-centred design processes and practices to define target persona's, identify problems or opportunities to improve community experience, and co-design innovative solutions which can drive change.
Analyse research from primary and secondary sources to produce accurate and validated reports, journey maps, personas, product development plans, and synergised recommendations.
Provide leadership and strategic guidance to adopt Human-Centred Design mindsets and ways of working such as: being comfortable with the unknown and spending time discovering, framing and defining the problem to be solved, managing risk and iteratively evolving work, developing hypotheses from insights to run experiments for continual improvement.
Support the Director Digital Strategy in the research, design, development and maintenance of strategic resources and initiatives that drive capability uplift and organisational design maturity.
Role RequirementsTechnical/ Operational/ Educational experience Demonstrated experience in Leading human-centred design and service designmethods and activities across the product/service lifecycle.
Passionate and experienced in Agile project delivery frameworks and ways of working, including collaboration within cross-functional digital delivery teams.
