The Digital Customer (Smart Service Queensland) stream provides digitally enabled whole-of-government services to the Queensland public through multiple channels including phone, counter and online. This stream brings together technology, development, products, design, engagement, and operations to deliver simpler connected services.
Key responsibilities include:
• Provide multi-tier operational support, investigation, analysis, and advice to clients and stakeholders regarding services provided by Queensland Online. These services include the whole of Government website www.qld.gov.au.
• Establish and maintain working relationships with internal and external stakeholders, customers, and 3rd party service suppliers to ensure the efficient and effective completion of business activities.
• Develop, maintain, or review documents including Service Management processes and procedures, test plans and other documentation in accordance with prescribed change control procedures.
• Participate in a 24/7 on-call roster and manage incidents in accordance with departmental procedures. You will be responsible for efficient handling and appropriate escalation of issues when acting as the Major Incident Manager. You will also be a key driver during the Problem Management process and root cause analysis activities.
• Undertake research and analysis on range of topics, to support government service delivery objectives and to drive improvement across all areas of ITSM.
• Support the implementation, maintenance, and ongoing review of online security practice in line with industry and departmental standards.
• Undertake system administration and solution configuration tasks where appropriate. Conduct ongoing content management and technical site and service operations for the Queensland Government online channel, maintaining and improving quality and functionality.
