Digital & Search Marketing (Marketing & Communications) Full time We're the Health Insurance Fund of Australia, but our friends call us HIF and we're looking for a Content and Search Engine Optimisation (SEO) Specialist to join our tight-knit Marketing team during an exciting and professionally rewarding time at HIF.
About the role The Content and SEO Specialist is responsible for developing and managing HIF's Search Engine Optimisation, digital content, and owned social media programs in line with HIF's vision, values, and strategic plans. The role contributes to achieving HIF's growth objectives by delivering SEO strategies, high-quality content, and consistent brand messaging across all digital platforms. Reporting to the Digital Marketing Manager, the role involves strong stakeholder management, cross-business planning, and executing effective SEO and social media strategies within budget and timelines. Some of the skills and experience you will have include: Strong understanding of SEO principles and tools (e.g., GA4, Search Console etc.) Excellent content creation, editing, and proofreading skills with attention to detail. Proven ability to manage multiple social media platforms and craft engaging content for our members. Strong analytical skills with experience in tracking and reporting performance metrics. Ability to collaborate effectively with external agencies and internal teams. Excellent project management and organisational skills to manage content calendars and deliverables. 3+ years of experience in SEO and content management within a digital marketing environment. Demonstrated experience in optimising content for SEO and managing social media platforms. Proven track record of improving organic traffic and search rankings. Experience working with content management systems. Basic knowledge of HTML and web development principles related to SEO. Familiarity with content marketing systems and tools. Strong understanding of user experience (UX) principles in content design. Experience with paid social media campaigns and PPC campaigns. Experience in the healthcare or insurance industry. Experience in managing agency relationships. Experience conducting website audits and executing SEO improvement projects. Exposure to digital marketing strategies beyond SEO and content (e.g., email marketing, PPC). Private Health Insurance industry experience.
