We oversee various public entities, including public corporations, regulatory authorities and specialist boards.The Department strongly encourages applications from Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people and offers reasonable adjustments for applicants with disabilities.Our values are accountability, integrity and respect, and underpin everything we do.Digital Content and Channels AdviserSalary: $95,102 to $107,905 (Plus Superannuation)Ongoing roleUsual hours of work: Full time (flexibility may be available)Usual work location: 121 Exhibition Street, Melbourne (flexibility may be available)The RoleThe Digital Content and Channels Adviser delivers innovative, effective and leading-edge digital, social media and online communications for the department, making sure our stakeholders receive the right messages, through the right channels, at the right time.The Digital Content and Channels Adviser is part of the Strategic Communications branch and works in a team of high performing digital professionals who are passionate about telling the stories that bring our department's work to life and using best practice digital communications to support the Victorian community.About YouAre you a digital expert with experience in managing and developing channels that meet user needs and support organisational goals? Do you enjoy creating engaging and inclusive content? Are you a team player who builds strong, productive relationships? Then this may be the role you have been looking for!Ideally you will have the following skills or experience:A relevant degree or recognised qualification in communications, marketing, or a similar field would be well regarded.Demonstrated understanding of digital standards in government is essential.Experience in government organisations is advantageous.Familiarity with digital tools such as advanced content management systems (e.g., Squiz Matrix), Adobe Creative Suite, Google Analytics, Campaign Monitor, CRMs, e-newsletter platforms, and social media management tools like Sprout Social is desirable.The department is committed to creating and maintaining a child safe organisation.
