About the Role An exciting position has become available for an innovative and digital media savvy Digital Communications Officer to join our remarkable Customer and Communications team at the City of Kwinana.
We are searching for a talented communications professional to expertly develop and execute digital marketing strategies across multiple channels and platforms to support and deliver the City's overall communications objectives.
Reporting to the Manager Customer and Communications, you will be responsible for the continuous development, delivery, and improvement of the City's digital marketing assets; including the corporate website, social media platforms, and other digital applications.
About You To be successful in this role, you will need the following:
Tertiary qualification in Marketing, Public Relations, Communications or related discipline.Considerable experience in digital marketing and creating effective integrated digital marketing campaigns.Experience managing complex websites through a Content Management System (CMS).Understanding of the fundamentals of web development including accessibility, user experience, information architecture, and mobile responsiveness.Experience producing email newsletters using web platforms e.g.
MailChimp.Experience in copywriting for digital mediums e.g.
writing for web, social media posts.Excellent knowledge of social media platforms, with a proven ability to use social media management software and use Google Analytics to collate statistics.Knowledge of internet and social media marketing techniques such as search engine optimisation (SEO), search engine marketing (SEM), and experience using Google Adwords and Facebook Business Manager.Understanding of marketing, advertising, design, and branding techniques and principles.Demonstrated ability to provide the highest quality of customer service.Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment.Interested?
