Dietitian - Senior (Paediatric Clinical Educator) Deliver high level clinical education services to Nutrition and Dietetic students in paediatric placements and supervision support to the paediatric dietetics team within the Gold Coast Hospital and Health Service as delegated to optimise educational outcomes for students and staff.An opportunity has become available for a Dietitian - Senior (Paediatric Clinical Educator) to join Gold Coast Health (GCH) where the focus of our 12 000-strong team is on providing world-class health care to people living in the Gold Coast, and northern New South Wales region of Australia.You willManage an allocated workload to deliver high level nutrition and dietetic services in GCHHS Children's Nutrition ServicesCoordinate orientation of students, student supervision, providing clinical education support for supervisors in paediatric nutrition and dieteticsApply professional judgement to complex situations using high level problem solving, decision making and conflict resolution skillsIdentify and contribute to the development of evidence based clinical practice, procedures, protocols and education materialsAbout youTo be successful in this position you will require:A tertiary degree (or equivalent) in Nutrition and DieteticsBlue card / Working with children check (GCH will cover cost)Evidence of vaccination, or be able to be vaccinated against and remain vaccinated against - Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, Pertussis and Hepatitis BTuberculosis screening, to identify if the tuberculosis vaccination may be requiredDeclaration of serious discipline history must be disclosedCriminal History Screening will be required for new employees (GCH will cover cost)Permanent part time (15.2 hours per fortnight)Base salary ranging from $62.75 - $67.53 per hourAbout UsNutrition and Food Services department provides leadership for effective and efficient Nutrition and Hydration management in conjunction with the key stake holders.
