The ORS Dietetics team is expanding and we are seeking our next clinician to join us!
You will join our NDIS division providing clinical services to participants aged 0-65 across the Maitland and Broadmeadow areas.
You will work across early intervention, school age, adolescent and adult services with clients who have various presentations, diagnoses and disability types.
You will work with an amazing group of clients with varying complexity and diagnosis and will play an integral role in driving NDIS dietetic referrals and advocating for the important role dietitians play in supporting those living with a disability.
You will form a close bond with your clients and celebrate their achievements together, every step of the way.
The type of nutritional assessments, counselling, education, support and planning you will provide include:
Healthy eating for people with a range of mental and physical disabilities Healthy eating principles around mindful eating and/or chronic health conditions including: Diabetes, high cholesterol, high blood pressure, IBS, IBD etc. Meal Time Management plans Fussy eating plans Tube feed plans Meal plans Eating disorders You will work across various environments, including family homes, disability group homes, day programs, schools, preschools, community settings, telehealth and ORS offices.
You will have access to administration and IT support, Foodzilla - Online Meal Planning software, Medication and Nutrition database, online resources, Education In Nutrition (EIN), internal and external professional development opportunities, the opportunity for clinical specialisation as well as career progression.

Membership with the Dietitians Australia (Registered APD). Strong passion to enable people with disabilities to reach their goals and aspirations. Some knowledge and experience in disability and/or aged care. A car and driver's licence. A National Police Clearance, Working with Children/Working with Vulnerable People Check & NDIS Worker Screening Clearance or able to acquire one for client facing roles (or willingness to obtain one before commencement).
