About the facility Our major sites include University Hospital Geelong in Geelong's CBD, the McKellar Centre precinct in North Geelong, Barwon Health North in Norlane, and residential aged care facilities spanning the region.
Comprehensive mental health, community health and dental services are delivered through various programs across the Barwon South West Region, including Torquay and Colac.

This role is based at one of those sites, the Corio Community Health Centre, an integral part of the community that has been providing health care since 1976.
The Centre, and the programs that are located at the centre are a much loved and respected part of the community.

About the role As part of Public Health and Primary Care Unit we deliver services to the multi-disciplinary program areas.
The position is responsible for the continuous improvement and delivery of high quality, cost effective dietetics services.

All activities of the position will reflect current best practice standards for nutrition and dietetics and support consumers and carers to achieve an optimum level of health independence through:
Comprehensive, co-ordinated and integrated multidisciplinary services,Provision of consumer –centred care to community members from a broad range of backgrounds.Contribute to meeting the program and allied health key performance indicators (KPI's). The position will operate according to relevant legislation, Barwon Health policies, and program and department guidelines.

It will be located at a primary location but may be moved to other Barwon Health locations depending on service delivery needs.
