Diesel Mechanic / Yard Person KPI Construction Services, a leader in major civil infrastructure projects, is currently seeking a **Diesel Mechanic & Yard Person** to join our growing team in **Upper Coomera, Qld**.

About the Role The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and repairing our fleet of **diesel and petrol-powered vehicles** and equipment, while also assisting with general yard duties.
Your primary focus will be on ensuring the fleet operates efficiently, safely, and in compliance with relevant maintenance procedures.
Key Responsibilities: Perform scheduled maintenance and repairs on a variety of **diesel and petrol-powered vehicles and equipment**.
Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues with heavy vehicles, construction machinery, and petrol vehicles.
Auto electrical skills are a huge advantage for diagnosing and repairing electrical systems within the fleet.
Experience using a MIG welder is desirable for repairs and maintenance.
Maintain accurate records of work completed in the maintenance database.
Support compliance with industry and environmental standards.
Assist in general yard tasks such as organizing equipment and ensuring a clean, safe working environment.
Skills and Experience: Qualified Heavy Vehicle Diesel Mechanic or equivalent Mechanical Trade.
Experience with both diesel and petrol vehicle maintenance.
Auto electrical skills highly desirable.
MIG welding experience is a bonus.
Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Familiarity with workshop databases for recording and tracking maintenance.
MR/HR license preferred.
