If so, we want you to join our team as a Diesel Mechanic/Service Technician!We are currently seeking Qualified Diesel Mechanics for our following branches:Albury, Bowral, Coleambally, Condobolin, Cowra, Dubbo, Finley, Forbes, Griffith, Gunnedah, Penrith, Quirindi, Tamworth, Wagga Wagga, Warren and Wee Waa.Position OverviewWe are seeking a skilled Diesel Mechanic/Service Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining John Deere equipment. From routine maintenance to complex repairs, you'll apply your expertise to ensure optimal performance and reliability for our customers.Why Join Us:Competitive Compensation: A minimum base hourly rate of $33 to $50, with an additional location-based allowance ranging from $2 to $5 per hour for remote areas.Earning Potential: Opportunity for paid overtime & monthly performance bonuses, which can lead to qualified technicians earning between $100,000 and $160,000 annually.Career Advancements: Annual pay reviews and opportunities for career growth.Support and Training: Uniforms supplied, weekly pay cycle, ongoing training and development opportunities.Tools and Vehicle Support: Weekly tool allowance, access to a company vehicle, laptop & mobile phone.Responsibilities will include (but are not limited to):Repairing, servicing and maintenance on John Deere machinery to meet the needs of our diverse customer base.Diagnosing and interpreting machine faults to get our customers back up and running.Maintain accurate records of repairs, parts used, and labour hours for billing and documentation purposes.Providing technical advice and support to customers and other service technicians as required.Uphold safety standards and protocols to ensure a secure working environment.The Ideal Candidate should have:Relevant trade qualifications as a Light or Heavy Vehicle, Agricultural or Plant Mechanic (LV or Diesel Mechanic, Cert III).Current and valid driver's license.Highly organised with great attention to detail.Self-motivated and ability to work independently.Strong teamwork and communication skills.Agricultural machinery servicing experience (John Deere preferred, other large brands highly advantageous).Mechanical, Electrical and Hydraulic experience is beneficial.Knowledge of CANBUS systems.Forklift License.
