The position reports to the Maintenance Supervisor with the primary responsibility of ensuring the production-related, mobile plant and equipment maintenance functions are performed in accordance with all statutory obligations, manufacturer's recommendations, and company standards, and in a manner that minimises any potential downtime.
Key Responsibilities Include:Diesel mechanical maintenanceBreakdown diagnostics and repairPreventative maintenanceAssisting with the maintenance and repair of a range of production equipment such as heavy and light mobile plant, processing equipment, material transfer equipment, and general yard equipmentResponding to breakdowns and call outsTo Be Considered for This Fantastic Opportunity, You Must Have the Following:Qualified Trade Certificate in a related area is essential.Current and valid motor vehicle driver's licence.Excellent communication skills and problem-solving skills.Self-motivated.Work within all safety systems, follow Safe Operating Procedures and use hazard identification and risk management techniques.Ensure all work is performed to compliance standards.A great work ethic and be a team player.Extensive experience in a related industry will be well regarded.Strong focus on safety.In Return, We Offer:Secure Permanent-Fulltime work for a well-regarded company with a focus on employee safety.Competitive hourly rates of $43.47ph + Super + Loading.Opportunities to grow your current skills, knowledge, and career.A flexible rotating roster of Monday to Friday 6am - 2pm and 2pm - 10pm.Please note that all employees are required to undertake a drugs and alcohol test, complete a pre-employment questionnaire, Police Check, and Physical and Medical assessment before commencing employment.
