***Diesel Mechanic/Fitter - Leading Hand (2:2 Roster/Fifo In Sa)

The role:

Our prominent and fast-growing SA-based client, is seeking a LEADING HAND HD FITTER / MECHANIC for a full-time/permanent role for their mine site in SA.

The role encompasses working on their fleet of Mobile Plant including - Hitachi Excavators; CAT Loaders, Trucks, Watercarts, Graders, Dozers and various other equipment.
The incumbent will be required to support the crew with their leadership qualities and assist when required on the ground.

The key responsibilities include: Repairs and servicing of mobile plant and HD type vehicles Assisting supervisor in leading the crew Conducting services, repairs and maintenance Sourcing technical information including OEM and computer based systems Maintain quality communication Leadership Manage parts request for defects/parts required for repairs to the clients fleet What you'll need to succeed Australian Recognised Trade Certificate 3+ years experience in a leadership/supervisory role Heavy duty mining equipment experience highly desirable  Ability to read and understand schematics – electrical and hydraulics Able to provide a current National Police Clearance
