The Position We are seeking an experienced Diesel Mechanic.
The successful candidate will be responsible for performing preventative maintenance, repairs, and diagnostics on a variety of diesel-powered construction equipment including excavators, loaders, dozers, and backhoes.
Responsibilities: Perform preventative maintenance, repairs, and diagnostics on diesel-powered construction equipment. Conduct engine overhauls, rebuilds, and replacements as needed. Identify and diagnose issues using computerized diagnostic tools and other equipment. Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair hydraulic, electrical, and pneumatic systems. Ensure compliance with safety protocols and regulations. Communicate effectively with customers and provide exceptional customer service. Maintain accurate and complete service records. Candidate In order to be considered, candidates will come from a heavy equipment service background within any relatable industry.
If you've worked in a trade role in construction equipment, mining, forestry, access equipment, forklifts, generators, compressors, or any other relevant equipment, we want to speak with you!
Key candidate criteria are:
Relevant Trade Qualification of Heavy Diesel Mechanic or Light Vehicle Mechanic. Proven experience working on earthmoving equipment, access equipment, ag equipment, or trucks. Strong mechanical, hydraulic, and diagnostics skills. Ability to navigate computer programs for diagnostics and troubleshooting. Excellent customer service and communication skills.
