In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways: Complete repairs and maintenance of heavy diesel products and attend to breakdowns in the field, this will be on an on-call rosterDiagnose and repair enginesInspect and replace components as requiredEngine rebuilding and reconditioningWork with other major OEM's such as Hitachi, Komatsu, LiebherrTo be successful in this role you will need the following: Relevant Heavy Diesel trade qualification - Heavy Vehicle Mechanic/Plant Mechanic or Diesel Fitter (to Australian standards)Experience as a Diesel Mechanic in the service and maintenance of heavy diesel products, mining equipment, power generation on engines and similar applications is preferred (ideally with an OEM)Compensation and Benefits Competitive Salary + mine site allowance paid as a permanent salaryOvertime paid as penalty rates for all work above standard Monday – Friday 38 hour work week$5,000 sign on bonus (Conditions apply)Relocation assistance offered from anywhere in Australia for you and your familyParticipation in an annual variable compensation (bonus) programAnnual remuneration reviewsSalary continuance insuranceCummins Employee Discount program – Includes Discounts with select private health insurance, PC software/hardware and a range of vehiclesSafety equipment / PPE and uniforms provided and launderedAt Cummins, we are an equal opportunity employer dedicated to diversity in the workplace.
