DIESEL FITTER LEADING HAND / DIESEL FITTER LH / LEADING HAND DIESEL FITTER / LH DIESEL FITTER / LEADING HAND MECHANIC Redpath Australia currently has an opportunity for 4 x Leading Hand Heavy Diesel fitters to join our new awarded project, MMG's Dugald River Mine in North West Qld. Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor on your crew you will enjoy working in a large but close-knit team of experienced HD Fitters.
Your position as a Leading Hand diesel fitter you will be responsible for leading, motivating and supervising the maintenance crew to achieve required results.
Your Duties Will Be Varied And Involve Manage and allocate correct resource to scheduled and planned maintenance. Ensure all work allocated for the crew is carried out, equipment is statutory compliant, all breakdowns are fixed in a timely manner and all work is done to a high safety standard. Assist fitters with the mechanical, hydraulic diagnosis and repair of faults when required File documents daily. Investigate ICAM incidents as required. Working within safety guidelines, policies, and procedures. Roster on Offer: 2 weeks on, 2 weeks off roster, rotating day and night.

Heavy vehicle/diesel fitting trade qualification Hold a valid Australian Drivers Licence + able to obtain a National Police Check within 3 months Able to contribute and work well within a supportive and dynamic crew culture A work ethic and attitude in keeping with Redpath's motto Consider it done — safely.
