We are on the hunt for trade-qualified Diesel Fitters to join our award-winning general revenue workshop in Townsville. Multiple Permanent, full-time Monday to Friday opportunities are available!
As a Diesel Fitter, you will: Have the opportunity to work with advanced technology, including computer-controlled systems and electronic diagnostic tools, making the work challenging and engaging.Work on a range of CAT machinery such as excavators, bulldozers, wheel loaders, dump trucks and track-type tractors, with models such as the CAT 320D, D6T, 950GC and 773G being commonly used.Diagnose, repair, and maintain these machines, ensuring their efficient operation in our business.Why Hastings Deering? A trade qualification in Heavy Diesel Fitting, or a similar field (Cert III Engineering)Demonstrated minimum 2 years post trade mechanical fitting experiencePrevious experience with CAT machinery and diagnostic systems desirableWell-developed communication and customer service skillsCommitment to workplace health and safety standardsA continuous improvement commitment and positive attitudeTo Apply: Hit the 'Apply Now' button
