OG Diesel NQ Pty Ltd is seeking a skilled and experienced Diesel Fitter / Light Vehicle Mechanic to join our growing team in Townsville, Queensland. This full-time role is responsible for the repair and maintenance of a variety of heavy and light vehicles, plant machinery and equipment, ensuring our clients' operational needs are well-maintained.
What you'll be doing Diagnose, repair and service a range of diesel and petrol-powered vehicles and equipmentPerform routine maintenance tasksIdentify and resolve complex mechanical issues, working collaboratively with the teamMaintain accurate records and documentation of all work completedEnsure a safe and tidy work environment, adhering to all health and safety protocolsProvide exceptional customer service to customersWhat we're looking for Formal qualifications in Automotive Diesel Fitting or Light Vehicle MechanicsMinimum 3 years' hands-on experience as a Diesel Fitter or Light Vehicle MechanicStrong diagnostic and problem-solving skills to identify and resolve complex issuesExcellent attention to detail and the ability to work to high standards of qualityGood communication skills to liaise with customers and team membersA positive, collaborative attitude and a commitment to continuous improvementMust have strong work ethic and reliabilityValid drivers licence (forklift or truck licence advantageous)What we offer At OG Diesel NQ, we are committed to providing our employees with a supportive and rewarding work environment.
