Diesel Fitter

Our client is Australia's largest privately owned dredging, civil and construction contractor with a global presence in the Asia / Pacific region. Due to a recent local project kickoff, we are looking for Multiple Diesel Fitters for ongoing maintenance of their Dredging fleet.
These roles are available for both local and FIFO / DIDO candidates, to ensure their equipment operates at peak performance, prioritizing safety, reliability, and productivity. If you're a specialist in Dredging equipment, or a qualified Diesel Fitter / Plant Mechanic that is looking for a new challenge, then we want to hear from you!
What's Involved? In field maintenance of Dredging equipment that is in operation at a local Mine Site in Singleton Daily engine and hydraulic checks Regular engine services, including but not limited to CAT C32 and 3512 engines Identifying reliability issues and improvements Lifestyle Roster 5,4,4,5 Day shift 12 hour days, 6 AM start What We're Looking For Diesel Fitter / Plant Mechanic Trade Qualification Experience with CAT or Cummins engines Experience with hydraulics Strong problem-solving and diagnostic skills Great communication and teamwork abilities Able to pass a Coal Board Order 43 medical Excellent references to support your application What We Can Offer You Full time, permanent positions Attractive hourly rates up to $65 / hour Accommodation and $450 LAHA / week for non-local candidates Singleton location Product training and onboarding program Diverse and varied equipment fleet Robust equipment resources including digital manuals and maintenance plans Skill development and career progression opportunities National and international project opportunities If this sounds like the right opportunity for you, please apply via the link or call Dean on 0438 863 915.
