What we are looking for: The successful applicant will be responsible for the day-to-day coordination of our workshop personnel and customer repairs/servicing, in a hands-on role. The successful applicant will be trade qualified as a Diesel Mechanic / Fitter and will have extensive trade experience in either the construction, material handling equipment sector or both, with the ability to effectively communicate with equipment owners, customers and staff.
The position calls for: Trade qualified heavy diesel fitterExperience in a leading hand roleEfficient management of the workshop procedures and workflowCompetent fault-finding skills, and the ability to read service-related drawingsSound knowledge of electrical and hydraulic systemsA positive attitude and pride in workmanship, appearance and paperworkAbility to build a great team environmentStrong leadership skillsAppropriate communication with staff, customers and operatorsEfficient diagnostic and repair procedures to be executed in a timely and professional mannerProficient paperwork and record keepingStrong teamwork and flexibility with a commitment to deliver a very high level of customer satisfactionProvide appropriate trade qualifications and experience, driver's license, appropriate workplace qualifications to work on site, or other current licensesA willingness to participate in product and company training as it is availableA professional and tidy approach to task, communication and company facilitiesApplicants that want a leadership role and have a great attitude in a similar role are invited to apply.
