Remote Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented AEM Tester to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) in a cloud environment and a proven track record in both manual and automated testing of AEM-based applications. This role requires expertise in testing across AEM Cloud Services and knowledge of AEM's capabilities in delivering high-quality digital experiences. The AEM Tester will collaborate with development and client teams to ensure the highest quality standards are met for AEM applications and implementations.
Key Responsibilities:
AEM Testing: Perform manual and automated testing for Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) applications. Test AEM Cloud Services integrations, ensuring proper functionality and performance. Create, maintain, and execute test cases and test plans for both new AEM features and updates. Validate front-end components (e.g., authoring UI, content components) and backend services (e.g., workflows, integrations) within the AEM platform. Automation & Scripting: Develop, maintain, and execute automated test scripts using tools such as Selenium, or similar for AEM projects. Implement test automation frameworks and integrate them into the CI/CD pipelines. Collaborate with the DevOps and Development teams to ensure the automation process supports continuous testing and integration. Manual Testing: Perform regression, smoke, and user acceptance testing (UAT) on AEM-based solutions. Provide detailed bug reports, track issues, and assist in issue resolution with development teams. Work closely with Managers, Developers, and Business Analysts to understand project requirements and deliverables. Provide feedback on test results, ensuring that quality is maintained at all stages of the development cycle. Produce clear and comprehensive test documentation, including test cases, reports, and defect logs. AEM as a Cloud Services: Perform testing in AEM Cloud Services environments, ensuring proper scalability, performance, and security. Identify and troubleshoot issues related to AEM Cloud Services and collaborate with the team for resolutions. Stay updated on AEM Cloud Services best practices and apply this knowledge to enhance testing processes. Performance and Load Testing: Conduct performance, stress, and load testing on AEM applications to evaluate and optimise performance under varying loads. Collaborate with the performance engineering team to address bottlenecks and improve application performance. Required Skills & Qualifications:
Experience: 5+ years of experience in AEM testing (manual & automation), including a strong understanding of AEM as a Cloud Service (AEMaaCS). Strong experience with AEM environments, including templates, components, workflows, and integrations. Proven experience in writing and executing automated tests using Selenium, or other test automation frameworks. Solid understanding of testing principles, methodologies, and the software development lifecycle (SDLC). Technical Skills: Experience with AEM Cloud Services, including content delivery, media management, and cloud integrations. Familiarity with modern testing frameworks and tools such as JUnit, TestNG, Selenium, Postman, and others. Knowledge of CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab) for integrating automated tests into the pipeline. Experience with performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter, LoadRunner) is a plus. Soft Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to quickly learn new technologies. Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment. Detail-oriented with a focus on delivering high-quality results. Strong collaboration skills with both technical and non-technical teams. Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field. AEM certifications (e.g., Adobe Certified Expert – AEM Sites). Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies. Familiarity with containerization and cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure). About Remote Office:
