Patching Server Engineer 12 months contract

DFP Recruitment is seeking an experienced Patching Server Engineer to join our Federal Government Client team.
Role Responsibilities Identify and implement solutions to vulnerabilities, both software patching and configuration hardening, as identified and prioritised through tool stacks and governance processes. Contributing to the preparation, development and improvement of documentation in alignment with governance processes. Work collaboratively across teams to build capability, share knowledge and support teams in their security compliance obligations in adherence with existing legislation and internal policies. Contribute to continuous improvement processes, uplifting section capability and working to support patching capability across. Work independently and as a member of a small multidisciplinary team to troubleshoot technical issues, sharing knowledge and building a repository of information to support legacy infrastructure. Skills Demonstrated experience with vulnerability management solutions, such as MECM, Nessus, Satellite, and Ivanti. Demonstrated knowledge and experience in implementing enterprise IT solutions based on-premises and utilising cloud services. Proven experience in analysing complex technical issues, identifying root causes, and developing effective solutions. Demonstrated knowledge and experience in deploying, testing, and maintaining an enterprise-sized ICT environment. Demonstrated knowledge of risk management principles and processes in the context of security patch management and infrastructure management. Demonstrated personal drive and integrity whilst achieving results, in alignment with legislation including but not limited to PSPF and ISM controls.
