As a result of expanding scope of works within UGL's portfolio, we are seeking a Fuel Operator to join our Operations & Maintenance team at the RAAF Base Williamtown, in the NSW Hunter Region.
This would be an exciting and unique opportunity to work in the Australia Defence environment to support the national security requirements of the Nation. Benefit from the opportunity to work with a Tier 1 services provider in a long-term, operations and maintenance contract.
The Roles Lead by an Operations Supervisor, the following role will be based in the NSW Hunter region, supporting a number of fuel installation sites in the area.
DFI Operator Reporting to the Operating Agent, the DFI Operator is responsible for the safe and compliant operation and management of the aviation and/or ground fuel installations.Manage quality, compliance, quantity, and availability of fuel and related systems and processes.Ensure the technical integrity of the fuel, including management of quality control sampling and testing.Experience in a similar environment would be highly regarded; fuel or other high-risk/hazardous processing environments.What you will Need Defence specific training will be advantageous; however, this training will be provided to the successful applicant where required.Valid Drivers Licence (HR or HC will be highly regarded).Safety is at the forefront of everything you do!Currently hold, or ability to obtain appropriate Defence Security Clearance.Live locally, or willing to relocate to the Darwin region (close-proximity to Williamtown / Hunter Region).What we Offer This is an opportunity to join UGL as a full-time employee, on a long-term contract within the Defence sector.
