Role Overview:
The company is seeking a seasoned DevOps/Platform Engineer with a strong Full Stack background to join its Digital Product and Solution (DPS) team. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with Solution Architects, developers, and the cloud platform team to develop reusable patterns and create an abstraction layer that enhances platform capabilities.
Key Responsibilities:
The DevOps/Platform Engineer will work with various development teams and Solution Architects to design and implement platform capabilities centred on containerised deployments, aiming to streamline processes. The role involves developing CI/CD pipelines, containerisation, and infrastructure as code practices. The engineer will also lead knowledge-sharing initiatives, including workshops on Openshift/Kubernetes, while continuously assessing platform performance to identify areas for improvement. Additionally, they will create and manage documentation to ensure accessible knowledge and best practices.
Key Skills and Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will have proven experience in DevOps and Full Stack development, with expertise in Openshift/Kubernetes, CI/CD, and cloud technologies. Strong problem-solving, communication skills, and a customer-centric approach are essential.
