This is an exciting opportunity to join a technology leader working on some of the most exciting and innovative projects in Australia.
The DevOps Engineer will join a small but high-performing engineering team delivering market-leading voice and video solutions to government and Enterprise customers as a part of their Digital transformation journeys.
Your job is to provide leadership in the operational design, development and support of the Parlai communications platform and products.
Working within the product engineering team you will provide end-to-end technical oversight and leadership in innovating and evolving the platform and product capabilities.
You will be well-versed in using and managing AWS services that can be leveraged and used to design and develop a work-leading communications platform.
You will be experienced across all phases of the software development lifecycle and will be acquainted with DevOps/Continuous Integration and production deployment processes.
In addition, the role will play an instrumental role in supporting customer solutions to ensure the security, quality and operational integrity of the solutions.
Skills & ExperienceYou will be someone who has: Excellent client-facing communications skills (written and verbal)Strong team player and work ethic.At least 6+ years' experience working in a software development teamServe as an AWS based platform & DevOps technical lead to implement projectsCI/CD Build & Configuration and Deployment of Software.Implement and enhance platform infrastructure implementations including EC2, ECS, API-GW, Lambda, DynamoDB, VPC, VPN, security groups, IAM roles, Docker, Jenkins, CloudFormation, CloudFront, DataDog, Logging, etc.Leading and contributing to AWS configuration & maintenance, and usage of deployment and task automation (OS, database services, virtual networks, or other platform services)Measure system performance and scalabilityProvide troubleshooting and technical support activities on platforms and services including evenings and weekends where requiredDefine, escalate, and resolve all technical issues in an organized, efficient and professional and expedited fashionUpdate Ticket Management System for relevant tasksMaintain and enhance Knowledge Base for supported platforms and servicesProactively monitor and address platform health, stability and capacity.Scripting and automation experienceExperience with SDLC tools (e.g. Bamboo, Jenkins, JIRA, GIT, Confluence)Highly self-motivated and demonstrating excellent problem-solving abilitiesStrong teamwork and willingness to respond to queries and provide deliverables within prompt timeframes to support customer, team and project objectives.Flexibility to deal with changing priorities and multi-tasking capabilityQualifications: Degree in Computer Science or equivalent industry experience
