Devops Engineer For Windows Server & Sql

Main Sequence, a 25-year-old, 50-person team dedicated to revolutionizing the recruitment industry and located in zip code 40094, is seeking a talented DevOps Engineer to join our team and help us continue to drive the growth of our self-hosted Microsoft Windows Server & SQL Server ATS CRM product. This is a critical role for our organization, as it involves ensuring our platform is always up, running smoothly, and providing an excellent user experience for our customers.
Responsibilities:

Manage and maintain our Microsoft Windows Server & SQL Server infrastructure, ensuring high availability and performance.
Automate deployment processes to improve efficiency and speed.
Monitor platform performance and availability, proactively identifying and resolving issues.
Collaborate with the development team to identify and implement infrastructure improvements.
Develop and maintain scripts for various operations and maintenance tasks.
Ensure security and compliance with industry standards and best practices.

Requirements:

Strong experience in Windows Server and SQL Server administration.
Proficiency in automation and scripting using Powershell, Python, or similar.
Experience with server virtualization technologies such as Hyper-V.
Knowledge of database administration, including database backup and recovery, performance tuning, and security.
Self-motivated, with a passion for technology and a drive for continuous learning.

Bonus Points:

Experience with CRM systems, specifically those in the ATS space.
Knowledge of network administration, including firewalls, routers, switches, and VPNs.
Previous experience with recruitment software.
