    DevOps & Developer Contract Roles (Remote, Australia-Based) Position: DevOps & Developer Roles (Flexible Skill Combinations) Location: Fully Remote, Australia-Based Our client is revolutionizing the legal industry with AI-driven platforms for electronic briefing and disclosure management, trusted by law firms, barristers, and government agencies worldwide.

Position Overview We are hiring for contract roles that require a combination of DevOps and Development expertise.
Candidates with any combination of the skills outlined below are encouraged to apply, whether you specialize in DevOps alone or have front-end, back-end or a combination of these software development skills.
You'll work independently and collaboratively to find innovative, elegant solutions that help scale our infrastructure, improve system robustness, and enhance user experiences.
Key Responsibilities In the first month, dive deep into our AWS infrastructure, refactor existing monolithic Terraform configurations, and break them down into modular setups.
Mid-term projects could include deploying a Clickhouse analytics database, feeding aggregated data into Zoho, implementing OAuth for centralized authentication, and scaling our infrastructure for increased robustness.
Enhance observability, including dashboards, alerting, and monitoring systems, to support infrastructure stability.
Essential Criteria Strong experience with AWS and Terraform is required.
Ability to select and reason through optimal infrastructure solutions.
A keep-it-simple (KISS) approach to infrastructure and development challenges.
Skill Set Requirements DevOps  AWS (VPC, EC2, ECS, RDS) Proficiency in Terraform, Docker, and Linux Observability (OpenTelemetry, Grafana) CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions) Bonus: nixpkgs, Clickhouse experience Front-End Developer  TypeScript, React, and GraphQL Strong design eye, especially with UX/UI Bonus: Tailwind CSS, Tailwind UI Back-End Developer Ruby on Rails, Postgres Bonus: Python, C#, GraphQL, nixpkgs, AI integration In this business, you'll be part of a dynamic team dedicated to using technology to simplify and enhance the legal sector.
