Telair is a dynamic Internet Service Provider dedicated to providing innovative telecommunication services. We're expanding our development team and are looking for a skilled Lead Developer to drive our automation and customer self-service initiatives.
What You Will Do:
Technical Leadership:Provide guidance and mentorship to the development team, ensuring best practices in coding, testing, and deployment.
Project Management:Oversee project timelines, ensuring projects are completed on time. Coordinate with other departments to align development with business goals.
Code Review & Quality Assurance:Conduct regular code reviews to maintain code quality and ensure adherence to industry standards. Implement automated testing and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
Hands-on Development:Actively participate in writing, debugging, and optimising code. Contribute to both Python and .NET projects.
Collaboration & Communication:Liaison between developers, stakeholders, and management. Ensure clear communication of project status, risks, and requirements.
Innovation & Improvement:Stay updated with the latest trends in automation, self-service technologies, and software development. Promote continuous improvement in processes and technologies.
Resource Management:Effectively allocate tasks and resources among the team. Identify skill gaps and recommend training or hiring to address them.
Problem Solving:Address technical challenges and roadblocks promptly. Provide solutions to complex problems.
Documentation:Ensure comprehensive documentation of code, architecture, and processes. Facilitate knowledge sharing within the team.
Customer Focus:Prioritise features and improvements that enhance customer experience and reduce the need for manual intervention.
Who You Are:
Experienced withPython (Essential)and.Net (Preferred)
Proficient in leading a development team (2+ years as dev lead)
Skilled in one or more of the following: Flask, FastAPI, Django
Experienced with automation tools, e.g. Ansible, Salt, etc
Experience in telecommunications (highly regarded)
