Development Post Approvals Officer

The Post Approvals Officer is a vital role focused on ensuring compliance and effective project management post-approval stages of development projects.
  
Key accountabilities: Preparing reports, briefs and project documentation Implement and monitor project plans to ensure outcomes are achieved on time, within budget, and to quality standards. Prepare and maintain project documentation for reporting, monitoring, and evaluation purposes Communicate and collaborate with key stakeholders, coordinating working groups, committees, and consultations Source, collate, and compile data to identify emerging issues and track project progress Undertake research and analysis to identify trends, preparing project briefs Support the implementation of project controls (risk management, scheduling, budgeting, and reporting) Identify, critically analyse, and evaluate compliance and planning issues, recommending options and practices to ensure timely responses to inquiries and compliance with planning consent conditions. Conduct proactive desktop reviews and site inspections to ensure adherence to development consent conditions, recommending corrective actions when breaches occur. Provide specialist advice to internal and external stakeholders on compliance issues as required. Monitor compliance at the project level Selection criteria: Relevant tertiary-level qualifications Proven experience in project management Strong analytical skills Prior experience with development post approval processes Excellent communication skills A valid driver's licence and willingness to travel A commitment to fostering compliance and continuous improvement If you have the relevant skills and experience, please apply now with your up-to-date CV (in Word format)
