Development Officer (Back-End)Independent Power ProducerRenewable Energy DevelopmentMelbourne, VICFull Time, PermanentAbout the BusinessInternational Independent Power Producer that develops, builds, owns, and operates their assets.Mix of utility scale wind, solar, BESS, pumped hydro, and hybrid technologies.Substantial development pipeline of projects nationally across Australia.About the RolePrimarily assisting development project managers on the back-end and latter stages of development projects, managing the relationship with NSPs with grid connection agreements in addition to subcontractor management through RFPs and RFQs.The role is heavily based on stakeholder management and relationships to achieve the best possible outcome for the project.Exposure to the business's in-house planning and approvals specialists ensuring the project progresses through the development pipeline to DA.Involvement in Commercial and Contracts Management.About YouStrong communicator with the ability to build lasting relationships.Good understanding of the development processes of utility scale renewable energy projects and assets, which could include wind, solar, BESS, pumped hydro, or a mixture.Good commercial acumen and negotiation skills.Willingness to learn and be curious.The organisation has one of the largest and most experienced development teams in the country, providing you the opportunity to learn from some of the best in the industry.If the location does not suit your situation, the business has other offices in Brisbane and Sydney and is flexible with where you base yourself from.
