The Lendlease Development business is currently recruiting for 2 Development Managers to join our origination team. Based at our Sydney head office, you will play a key role in supporting the origination of potential development opportunities. In this role, you will be responsible for identifying, evaluating, and acquiring potential development sites. Responsibilities may include: Market research and analyticsSite identification and evaluationDevelopment brief preparationCommercial assessment of prospective sitesCollaboration with internal and external technical experts and stakeholders About you: You will have a strong background in Development Management, preferably in the office or built apartment space. You will also: Have experience creating investment cases and influencing the deal concept and constructsPossess expertise in navigating and negotiating various contractual arrangements including Joint Ventures, Development Management Agreements, Project Development Agreements, Acquisitions, Fund Throughs, and divestmentsExhibit exceptional communication skills and a collaborative approach, with an ability to develop and maintain strong relationships with both internal and external Development functional teamsHave the ability to carefully balance internal and external stakeholders, commercial drivers, and outcomes (including state and local government and government agencies) You will be tertiary qualified in Development, Planning, Property Economics, Engineering, or a related field and have demonstrated experience in Industrial Acquisitions.
