About the role
We are seeking a Development and Investment Manager to join our Documentary Unit. Reporting to the Head of Documentary and working with the broader Documentary team, this position will assess and manage applications for funding across Screen Australia's Documentary programs and initiatives. The successful candidate will liaise with industry practitioners to provide information and advice regarding applications, and work closely with applicants to ensure funded projects are successfully completed and delivered. This position may require some travel.
About you
A strong track record in relevant roles such as developing, producing, directing, writing, commissioning across documentary and or factual projects that demonstrates high levels of creative, strategic and commercial skills and knowledge.
Demonstrable high-level knowledge and understanding of the Australian and international screen industry, across all platforms.
Demonstratable knowledge of the local and global industry landscape including with regards to innovation, funding models, distribution and audience trends across all platforms.
Demonstrated knowledge of production budgets, finance plans and other financial matters related to production.
