Developer Programer
As a Lead Software Developer, you will leverage your extensive experience and technical expertise to design, develop, test, maintain, and document program code in alignment with user requirements and system specifications. You will be responsible for leading development teams, ensuring the successful delivery of high-quality software solutions, and providing expert guidance on technology and system improvements. Your role will involve working across various industries including Banking, Finance, Utilities, and Councils, focusing on creating and implementing customer-facing applications.
Key Responsibilities 1. Design and Development o Lead the architectural design and development of software solutions, ensuring alignment with user requirements and system specifications. o Utilize Object-Oriented Analysis, Design, Development, Integration, Deployment, and Implementation methodologies to create robust, scalable applications. o Develop and maintain program code in accordance with technical specifications and quality standards. 2. Technical Expertise o Research, consult, analyse, and evaluate system program needs to address technology limitations and deficiencies in existing systems. o Employ a diverse range of technology frameworks including Java, .NET Core, Spring Boot, and JavaScript frameworks (Angular, Vue.js). o Implement and manage Microservices Architecture and Containers, particularly Docker, to enhance application performance and scalability. 3. Testing and Maintenance o Conduct thorough testing, debugging, diagnosing, and correction of errors in applications programming languages, adhering to established testing protocols and quality standards. o Write and maintain technical program documentation, end-user documentation, and operational procedures to ensure clarity and compliance. 4. Technical Leadership o Lead development teams in designing and implementing software solutions, contributing hands-on expertise to ensure high-quality deliverables. o Prepare high-level technical designs aligned with business requirements and industry standards. o Conduct workshops and collaborative sessions with stakeholders to define project scope and priorities. 5. System Integration and Improvement o Identify technology limitations and deficiencies in existing systems, proposing improvements and upgrades as necessary. o Provide expert advice and guidance in developing proposals, strategies, and financial evaluations for software design activities, including recommending software purchases and upgrades.
Required Skills and Qualifications • Educational Qualification: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field. Relevant experience and/or vendor certifications may substitute for formal qualifications. • Experience: Over 8 years of hands-on software development experience with a proven track record in designing and delivering software solutions across various industries.
• Technical Skills o Proficiency in .NET Core (3.1 & 2.2), ASP.NET MVC Core, Java, and C#. o Expertise in frontend technologies such as JavaScript, JQuery, Angular, Vue.js, HTML5, CSS, and Bootstrap. o Experience with web services (SOAP and REST), Spring (including Spring Data, Spring Cloud, Spring Security), and container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes). o Familiarity with databases such as Oracle, MySQL, DB2, MS-SQL, PostgreSQL. o Knowledge of messaging systems (RabbitMQ) and caching solutions (Redis). o Understanding of cloud services, particularly Oracle Cloud Infrastructure and related o Hands-on working experience of oracle utilities Application Framework (OUAF)
