About the Role We are seeking a motivated individual for the role of Despatch and Trade Desk Assistant at Criterion Industries WA. This role combines face-to-face customer service, phone sales, and efficient delivery scheduling. If you're ready to bring your skills to a vibrant team, this opportunity is for you!
Your Skills: Customer Service Experience: Previous experience in both face-to-face and phone customer service.
Computer Proficiency: Intermediate skills in Outlook and ERP systems, along with experience in sales order entry.
Interpersonal Skills: Ability to work successfully with a diverse range of personalities.
Language and Mathematics: Intermediate proficiency in mathematical and English grammar intelligence.
Communication: Fluent English speaking skills with a keen attention to detail.
Ability to perform under pressure, manage multiple customers and requirements at once while adhering to standard processes.
Preferred Skills: Industry Experience: Previous experience in the office fit-out industry or similar products (Aluminium Extrusions, Door Hardware, Timber Doors).
ERP System Knowledge: Familiarity with Microsoft Business Central ERP system.
Microsoft Office: Experience in Microsoft Excel and Word.
Local Knowledge: Some knowledge of Perth CBD and surrounding areas.
What the Role Involves: Serving customers face-to-face and taking phone sales orders.
Processing sales orders, PODs for pick-up orders, and payments for pick-up orders.
Providing ETAs to customers and managing the daily delivery truck schedule.
Proactively communicating with clients about delivery times and advising on delays.
Following up with purchasing/production regarding ETAs when required.
Processing returns/credits and tracking backorders.
Assisting with warehouse order picking as needed.
