Desktop Motor Assessor

In this role, you will be assessing third party motor claims via desktop to determine fair and reasonable costs.
On a normal day, you will: Inspect claims files and images to assess damage, determine loss extent, and get online quotations to authorise claim settlements within guidelinesPrepare assessments following organisational objectives, business guidelines, and the Code of PracticeAuthorise costs and replacements based on the best value quotations and supervise the repair work qualityHandle disputed recoveries and settlements through expert reviewCommunicate outcomes and recommendations to department staffSupport colleagues to improve efficiencies and positively influence business and customer outcomesAbout you: Must have a trade qualification in Panel Beating or Spray PaintingPrevious experience in assessing will be advantageousExperience in the motor trade/industryAdept at using computers and learning new systems or applicationsKnowledge of conflict resolution processesStrong time management and multitasking abilitiesProfessional written and verbal communication skillsA team player with the ability to build rapport with stakeholdersStrong problem-solving and resolution skillsWhat Youi can offer you: Optional 9 day fortnight with every second Friday offA culture of high performance and autonomy in a supporting and fun, team environmentContinuous Industry leading training, development, and career progression opportunitiesAward winning health and well-being programsGreat work environment with team social eventsFlexible working arrangements available21 days of annual leave plus an extra day for your Birthday
