Responsibilities: Sourcing fabrics and having a good eye for a quality luxury brandApproval of lab dips/fabrics/trimsDesign and product development and concepts PLUS StyleCAD patternmakingOversee sample cutter and design assistants to ensure smooth workflow to sample machinists, production and grading/cuttingTheme and colour boardsWorking to scheduleGarment fitting and fabric testingStudying competitive marketAssisting in planning and coordinating photography stylesDevelop original spec sheet with style number, sketch and design detailsOversee communication to offshore developers to ensure timely answers to all queriesAttending weekly production meetingsThis is an excellent opportunity for a Designer/Style CAD/LECTRA Patternmaker with exceptional technical skills to design very young, fashion-conscious garments.
