Job Description Looking for an Electrical CAD Designer to join our Rollingstock team, this position would be based in Queensland, preferably Maryborough. 12-month Full time - Fixed term.

We are currently seeking an Electrical CAD Designer to permanently join our Rollingstock team, preferably based in Maryborough QLD; however, we do have sites in Brisbane QLD, North Ryde, Sydney Cardiff NSW, and Milton NSW.
The Electrical CAD Designer will work within a team environment to produce quality Electrical design and drawings on time and within project timescales along with the application of engineering, design, and maintenance knowledge and principles for the design, modification, and overhaul of passenger and freight rolling stock. You will be responsible for the preparation and production of high-quality technical electrical design deliverables across both functional and physical design elements, derived from scope requirements and high-level Engineering design. Typical drawings production would include system block diagrams, schematic drawings, wiring diagrams, 3D Panel Assemblies, 3D installation drawings, and harness drawings.
You Will Have Proven experience in an Electrical CAD Design based role.Strong knowledge of AutoCAD and ideally Elecdes.Ideally have proven experience with 3D modelling software, preferably Siemens NX.Ideally have experience with Siemen's Team Centre.High analytical and problem-solving ability with a history of pragmatic solution-based designs.Strong understanding of safety and its role in the design and the workplace.Excellent communication skills both written and verbal with the ability to explain complex design components to all levels of the business.Highly developed knowledge of problem-solving procedures and methods in relation to engineering design and change management processes.Design experience in Rolling Stock or related industry highly regarded.You will become a subject matter expert and be working in collaboration with others in our organisation and take pride in the achievements of the team.
