Strategically important to our future growth and impact, we are looking for talented Design Engineering professionals - those with a can-do attitude, who is consultative, able to prioritise their work and get things done - The successful candidate will be a team player and be able to work with a range of stakeholders including influencing senior leaders both internally and externally.

Transport
Our Transport and Infrastructure team leverages a collaborative approach, the latest technology and a culture of innovation across the planning, design, and management phases to deliver sustainable connectivity, mobility, and resiliency to Australian communities.
What you'll do:
You will be taking a leading role within our QLD Rail team and will be providing strong Design guidance and oversight to projects within the local team.
You believe in striving to offer best practice consulting services to clients, throughout QLD and beyond, and relish in opportunities to lead and collaborate on international projects.
Your passion and technical expertise will be deployed across a number of diverse projects, and will expose you to a variety of industries, such as transport, ports, mining, renewable energy, property and buildings, and also government sectors to further continue the growth of an already successful and reputable local geotechnical capability.
You will also be tasked in mentoring and the development of more junior engineers, ensuring that we are cultivating and supporting our fantastic Engineers of tomorrow.
About You
You will:
Have proven junior to mid level experience in the delivery of Rail, Roads & Highways detailed design projects
Be a qualified Engineer or equivalent
Have a proven ability to develop and expand client networks
Hold strong communication skills - both verbal and written including strong report writing skills
Be a demonstrated team player
Be capable and willing to mentor junior personnel and develop internal capability
Have a proven track record of managing teams and delivering large detailed design multi-disciplinary infrastructure projects on time and to budget
Hold a sound understanding of commercial principles
