The Role
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Design Manager who excels in both front-end design and project delivery. You will play a crucial role in bridging the tender/EOI phase with the construction phase, working closely with Project Managers to ensure a seamless project launch.
Reporting to one of four dedicated Construction Managers and the Head of Design, your focus will be on overseeing a unique mixed-use development in collaboration with one of Australia's most prestigious developers.
This project is set to create highly desirable and livable spaces. You will be based on-site, ensuring that the project meets time, cost, and quality targets.

Key Responsibilities
Lead design meetings with internal stakeholders.
Identify cost-saving opportunities through value engineering and resolve buildability issues.
Coordinate with team members to overcome design-related challenges.
Produce reports for senior management.
Assist project management teams in securing necessary approvals to commence construction.
Skills & Experience Required
Degree in Construction Management or a related field.
Proven experience in high-rise residential or boutique apartment sectors with reputable builders.
Strong understanding of buildability and budget management within tier-two markets.
Experience navigating the approvals process with relevant authorities.
