Position: Design Leader (Interiors) Location: Melbourne, Australia Salary: Upto $120k + Super Our client is an innovative and dynamic interior design studio, where creativity meets functionality.
They specialise in delivering cutting-edge design solutions for hospitality projects across Australia and internationally.
Their team is dedicated to pushing the boundaries of design excellence while maintaining a strong commitment to sustainability and client satisfaction.
Our client is seeking a talented and experienced Design Leader to join their team in Melbourne.
The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in leading and inspiring their design team, ensuring the highest standards of creativity and quality in all projects.
As a Design Leader, you will be responsible for overseeing the design process, from concept development to project completion, and ensuring that our work meets the clients' needs and expectations.
Key Responsibilities: Lead and manage the design team, providing guidance, mentorship, and support to foster a collaborative and innovative work environment.
Develop and implement design concepts that align with the project goals and client requirements.
Oversee the entire design process, ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Collaborate with clients, consultants, and stakeholders to understand their needs and translate them into effective design solutions.
Ensure that all designs comply with relevant building codes, regulations, and sustainability standards.
Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices to continuously enhance our design capabilities.
Represent the firm in client meetings, presentations, and industry events, building and maintaining strong professional relationships.
Qualifications: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Interior Design or a related field.
A minimum of 10 years of experience in interior design, with a proven track record of leading and managing design teams.
Strong portfolio demonstrating creative and innovative design solutions across various project types.
Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD and Adobe Creative Suite.
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work effectively under pressure.
