Design Draftsman (Design to Fabrication, 3D Inventor, 6 month contract)Client and you:Specialist engineering and manufacturing company employs 100+ people throughout Australia and has branches in NSW and VIC. They require a Design Draftsman for their team in Albury with at least 5 years of experience drafting with Inventor.Key responsibilities:Positive proactive attitude to design and drafting - mechanical, structural mainly for the resources sectors.Preparation of detailed 3D manufacturing drawings for machinists and fabrication specialists.Modification of CAD.Mechanical drafting of components for small conveyors, screens, chutes, hoppers, and more.Sheet metal design and structural detailing of handrails, platforms, and walkways.Assist and identify new processes where needed for product and quality development and improvement.Manage technical data and BOMs for all products.Document management knowledge (PLM or ERP/MRP) is advantageous.To apply you will have:Full working rights in Australia.A TAFE and 5 years of Inventor design experience.CAD savvy, ability to pick up new software quickly.Ability to record own BOMs and write accurate reports.Team player.Excellent communication skills.If you would like to discuss the role further, please feel free to send your CV via this link and an NDR Consultant will be in contact.NDR, Your People For Tomorrow, Right First Time.
