Salary: Level 3, $125,850 - $137,715 per annum (pro-rata) (SEA GA 2021)
This is a permanent full-time position commencing Term 4, 2024

The Role
Onslow School is seeking a motivated and inspiring leader to join their team as their Secondary Deputy Principal.
The role of the Deputy Principal – Secondary focuses on the operation and management of the secondary school.
This includes liaising with the School of Isolated and Distance Education (SIDE) to support students and staff with a blended learning model along with advocating for student wellbeing through effective processes associated with attendance and behaviour.
Furthermore, the successful applicant will play a key role in leading staff through the 2024 – 2027 Onslow School Business Plan implementation with a whole-school perspective.
As a leader within Onslow School, you will influence student outcomes through change management processes which are our commitment to quality teaching, high expectations and success for all students.

The successful applicant will ideally demonstrate highly effective interpersonal skills as part of working in a small team, with a need to work flexibly within the school environment.
There is the opportunity to innovate on the uniqueness of the secondary structure.
Effective working relationships with our community partners are highly desirable to further enhance the learning opportunities for our young people, particularly with careers and wellbeing education.

hold registration with the Teacher Registration Board of Western Australia obtain a valid Working With Children Check before you start; and consent to a National Criminal History Check with the Department's Screening Unit.
