About the Position The Deputy Principal of Teaching and Learning will be responsible for leading data-informed, differentiated teaching and learning at the Secondary Campus in Kenwick, Perth, Western Australia.
An important focus is providing support for Teachers to excel, and the promotion of best practice in pedagogy.
The incumbent will be required to work closely with the Principal, Deputy of Students, and Heads of Learning Areas to ensure a consistently excellent approach to student growth and development.
The Deputy Principal of Teaching and Learning will be responsible for developing coaching, mentoring, and observation opportunities with Heads of Learning Areas, as well as with staff.
The successful applicant will also work with the Academic Executive to oversee the development and consistent implementation of a RCC Classroom Profile across the College.
This profile will be a means of connecting the 'what' in Christian Worldview Framework and the College's curriculum, with the 'how' of its delivery in the classroom.
The ability to teach up to FTE 0.4 as a component of this senior role is preferred.

Here are the essential criteria for the position: you must be actively involved in a local Protestant Christian church and be able to demonstrate an exemplary Christian lifestyle you must hold a TRBWA registration (Teacher's Registration Board) you must hold or obtain a Working with Children Check you must hold or obtain a Department of Education Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check that is no more than three months old, and refer to the position description for a role-specific description.
